About Us

We believe healing extends beyond hospital walls. A peaceful, dignified space can restore more than the body — it restores hope.

Our Story

Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC (KFR) — pronounced KAY-FAR — is a veteran-, Black-, and woman-owned, owner-operated small business pioneering integrated programs that bridge comfort, care, and education in Colorado’s medical housing landscape:

  • Boutique Medical Housing Program— offering safe, restorative, fully furnished homes for patients, caregivers, and families in medical transition.
  • Healing Stays Program — donating complimentary short-term stays to those in need of rest, privacy, and compassion during treatment or recovery.
  • Lunch and Learns- educational sessions and outreach for hospital staff to strengthen discharge planning and patient-housing coordination.

Each KFR home is hand-prepared with clinical awareness and heartfelt care — featuring comfortable bedrooms, private laundry, full kitchens for healing meals, and accessible bathrooms designed for dignity and safety.

We prioritize hospital-referred guests — including case managers, discharge planners, and social-work teams — who trust us to care for families between hospital and home. Every detail, from decor to cleanliness, is curated to reduce stress and promote recovery.

Our Cause — The Healing Stays Program

Our signature initiative, the Healing Stays Program, donates complimentary short-term stays to patients and caregivers who need rest, privacy, and comfort during treatment or recovery. Each month, a portion of our proceeds and community partnerships fund one or more Healing Stay donations, allowing families to focus on healing — not housing.

“I believe healing is not just medical — it’s emotional, spiritual, and environmental. Through this program, I share that peace with those who need it most — one family at a time.” — Anna Kakai, Founder

Our Programs

Kenyan Furnished Rentals unites three connected initiatives — all serving one purpose: to help families heal with dignity, comfort, and education.

Program Purpose Impact
Boutique Medical Housing Program Provides fully furnished, hospital-priority housing for patients and caregivers. Reduces stress and supports recovery.
Healing Stays Program Donates complimentary short-term stays for families in need. Builds trust, goodwill, and hope.
Lunch & Learns / Educational Outreach Shares tools and insights with hospital teams. Strengthens partnerships and referral networks.

Together, those initiatives form a continuous circle of service and care — where every booking, every conversation, and every act of compassion fuels the next.

MISSION

To provide hospital-priority boutique medical housing and educational programs that ease challenges for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. We create culturally enriched, restorative living spaces for families in transition while equipping case managers, social workers, and discharge planners with tools to improve patient-housing outcomes — and through the Healing Stays Program, we extend that care to families in need.

“This work is guided by gratitude, purpose, and the hope of healing.”

VISION

To be the leading partner in medical housing and hospital education — recognized for safe, affordable, culturally inspired homes and for driving systemic solutions to discharge planning through seminars, Lunch & Learns, the Healing Stays Program, and collaborative healthcare partnerships.
